  Home Again!
July 9:
We came home yesterday in the morning, and it's been great! Daniel is awake more, cries more, and makes more stinky diapers, but he does a decent job of sleeping, too - even at night sometimes! We are thoroughly enjoying him and mom is recovering quickly (thanks to a lot of help from Grandma and Grandpa Smelser!) We've easily got the cutest baby that ever was!

We really enjoyed seeing your photos of Daniel. Glad Jessica and Daniel are doing well. We are so excited for you guys! And guess what? Daniel was born on Matthew's birthday -- only 39 minutes (and a few years) later than Matthew.

Thanks! That's really neat! I thought is was funny that he was born on 7-5-7 because that's our old boy scout troop number, but i didn't remember it was Matt's birthday, too! Well, he couldn't have picked a better fella to share it with!
