Family

Today we got to hang out with some of the great folks in Seth's extended family: the Hamilton family as well as cousin Katy and husband Jean-Seb. Katy and Jean-Seb work with a church in Quebec, which has a culture that is similar in some significant ways to Ireland, so it was wonderful to get to see them and talk about the Lord!!

home again!

We're thankful to be home in our own house again! It was wonderful to see so many great folks while we were away, though - it makes us want Heaven even more, so that we won't have to be seperated from anyone we love!!
As far as our monthly support goes, we probably won't know where we're at for sure for a while, but we did have a great response from folks along the way and we're excited to see what God will do!
It was also exciting to meet so many new friends and have the opportunity to be in new (to us) churches that love the Lord. We are learning a lot from this process, and have been encouraged to see God working in places we've never been!

Georgia on our mind
Seth's old roomate from college, Josh, is now a music pastor in Macon, GA. Josh lined up three churches for us to speak at here in the Macon area (including his own) and he and his wife Katie are even letting us stay at their house while we're here! What a blessing!

Ireland shakes up the EU
Ireland recently voted down a far-reaching European Union treaty that had to be ratified by every country in the Union to be passed. Ireland was the only country that put the treaty to popular vote, and the only country (so far) to reject it. For more, check out
this article from the NY Times.

Vacation Bible School
Today was the last day of VBS at Seth's home church,
Southwood. We got to present the missions project, which was to help the church-plant in Youghal, Ireland (the one we'll be working with when we move there) buy a keyboard (as in, electric piano) to use for worship. So we've been there everyday this week, telling the kids about Ireland and what God is doing there!
What fun!
and get this - today we found out that the kids raised over $1,600 for the keyboard!! WOW!!

Southwood
We made the trip from VA to AL in a post-baby record breaking nine hours! We were all happy about that! Today we went to Southwood Presbyterian Church, one of our supporting churches and the church Seth grew up in, started teaching in, interned with the children's ministry in... yeah, this place had a big impact on Seth. It was wonderful (as always) to be there and to see lots of old friends and meet some new ones, and we're excited about presenting the missions project (which will be to help the church plant we'll be working with in Ireland) this week at Southwood's Vacation Bible School!

11 months and getting ready for bama
Our interned at home is down, but it's nice to have a coffee shop nearby!
Yesterday Daniel turned 11 months old - hard to believe we'll be having a birthday party next month! Wow, that went fast! He's getting closer and closer to walking, but he doesn't seem to sense any need to hurry. He's still a bit scared of venturing out on his own, and doesn't like to be pushed. So we're enjoying the crawling stage. Except now we have to watch him, because he's getting good at climbing stairs.
We'll post pictures in celebration of his 11-month day very soon... but not yet.
Tomorrow we are leaving for Alabama/Georgia! Today we're wrapping up anything that needs to be done here and packing for the trip. We'll keep you posted once we get there!

family time
This weekend Seth's cousin (Mom's side) got married in the area. We had a wonderful time celebrating with tons of family in town from all over the place. The whole family loves the Lord, which makes for some great fellowship, conversation and a whole lot of fun! And we didn't even have to leave town!
